The holiday season is a great time to give back. This holiday we’ve been encouraging everyone to shop local and support local businesses. To take it a step further, we want to provide you with practical ways to get involved in the community and provide impact in ways that truly make a difference. 

  1. East Bridgewater HUGS

HUGS is an all volunteer, non-profit group based in East Bridgewater. This holiday season they are providing local families with support to help them meet their needs. They are running multiple holiday initiatives from giving trees to providing gifts to children.

  1. Fall River Police Association Toy Drive

The Fall River Police Patrolman’s Union has challenged the Fall River Firefighters Union to a toy drive competition. This toy drive is held annually to gather toys and raise funds to purchase toys for families in need. All donations to the toy drive will go to the South Coast YMCA Toy Drive.

  1. Homes for Our Troops 

Homes for Our Troops is a Taunton, MA based non-profit organization that supports injured veterans. With roots in our community, we encourage everyone to make a donation and share this great foundation with your network. We believe in helping veterans and supporting those who have fought and served for our country.

  1. 17th Annual Gary Mirliss Memorial Blood Drive

The Gary Mirliss Memorial Foundation is partnering with Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Children’s Hospital Boston to host their annual blood drive. On Saturday, January 9, 2021 stop by Lake Pearl Luciano’s in Wrentham, MA and donate blood to help a great cause.
